Ranger Jane's is a play store with toys and games that encourage creative and active play for kids and adults. We wish our retail tenants the very best and hope you can stop by to see what they have to offer!

Going hiking
The town of Thomas has an abundance of hiking and biking trails just steps from the town center. Here, our son hikes the trail on the other side of the river, directly opposite Front Street.
Things we found in the walls
Things we found in the walls: old whiskey bottles and cigar boxes. Unfortunately, they were all empty :)
Happy Father's Day!
According to this vintage advertisement that we found in the retail space of our apartment building, all dad needs in order to enjoy the company of his kids is a good night's sleep on an Englander mattress. To all the sleep-deprived dads out there, Happy Father's Day!
Strange, beautiful light
The light right after the rainstorm yesterday afternoon was so beautiful. This photo is taken right behind our apartment building, facing the river.
Evening stroll through town
Going on an evening stroll through town with my son. Thomas is a wonderfully quaint little town, full of galleries, shops and live music venues.
It's all coming together!
It's all coming together, slowly but surely. Our first tenants move in in July! Check out what's still available here!
Happy Monday!
Beautiful peonies from a kind neighbor and a box with old glass we found in the basement of our apartment building. Happy Monday!
A guided tour of the Milkint Building
We hosted a guided tour of the Milkint Building as part of ArtSpring's historic buildings tour and 35 people showed up! We talked about the history of the building, the family who built it, and what Thomas was like at that time, in the early 20th century.
A night on the town
Despite its size (586 at the 2010 census), Thomas, WV is a bustling town. Especially during events, such as ArtSpring, the town swells in size with visitors coming to enjoy the local art and music scene.
